They're very good typically, not perfect as nobody is, but they're as good as anyone.

I like using it to look at how consensus views a team...say UVA. Lunardi is so high on them, however the matrix has always shown he's pretty much the only one lol.

My guess is that the consensus would be a lot better at predicting the bracket- and might be the best- vs any one knowledgable "bracketologist".

Brackets just updated. MTSU and Ole Miss replace UK and Tennessee in the matrix field.

They don't get in based on their results against one team though. Their schedule was soft and they have a few really bad losses. They're certainly making a strong case for themselves right now though.

So MTSU is getting in over UK...don't think so. I could believe it over TN. This post has nothing to do with who actually deserves it, just the fact I don't that will happen.
