Looks like I'm not the only one that thinks the Vols are good enough to take on all but about 10 or so teams this year...

I'm not sure how saying we don't want Texas again bears that out. Texas is easily a Top 10 team. There are probably 10-15 teams that I think would be prohibative favorites against the Vols.

Amazing how perceptions can change so quickly. Hatvol is right, we don't want to play Texas when they are healthy.

I disagree Freak.....I think that as the season has went along we've gotten better I think we could hang with them now even with them at full strength....PEarl would have them ready, we beat a very good Florida team last week and they were at full strength for most of the game....I would say we could play Texas tight now

thats funny though.. I think that we could hang with duke... As long as we got them in TBA. Maybe even beat them if we get them in TBA...

I think we could hang with anyone in the country on one of our best shooting nights....It's just a matter of playing good and not making dumb decisions

when both Lofton and Watson are on we can beat about anyone, but it seems like its always one or the other not both.

I agree that we have gotten better, much better. I just think Texas is a different team with Buckman and Gibson.

I agree, and people forget we went out and got beat by 15 by a not good OSU team.

14 wins and 3 losses, 5 wins and 1 loss in conference play against a top-10 shedule and that's what you key on :blink: This team has done some amazing things this season. We rely heavily on our outside shooting, almost zero post presence and a 6-4 white guy is our leading rebounder (LIO's boy-toy)! Eventually the positives are bound to sneak up on ya (I hope).

I'm not denying that Pearl hasnt done any amazing job with this team, and that we are a very, very good ball team, I'm just saying playing Texas full strength we'd be in the game but lose. It'd be like Memphis where they pull away at the end.
