Lunardi had us at a 7 or 8 to start the season last year. I don't usually put much stock in his opinion, but I'll take whatever good press we can get.

Yeah...Cause he was wayyyyyy off base with that...It's good he didn't have us as like a 9 or something.

Lunardi knows his stuff. Last year he got 65 of 65 correct. This year he got 64 of 65. I am one to give props where props are due. He is great at predicting brackets and I have no problem taking what he says with much more than a grain of salt.

He has sources in the selection committee. He always changes his bracketology just a few hours before the seedings are announced. Hard not to be spot on when you have someone telling you the correct seedings.

Using his last minute updated to try and validate a preseason prediction is ludicrous.

Not all of the class of 2009 have signed and not everyone that will enter the draft with an agent has done so yet. Maybe he should have waited a month or so to do his Bracketology.

I'm confused by the contradictory nature of your last statement. You imply that you trust Lunardi, then you state that you take what he says "with a grain of salt". So, which is it? Do you trust him or not?

I know this is kinda irrelavent, but if you look at the bracket they're in. Tennessee could make it out of that region. If it's the same team as last year then no. But teams are supposed to improve over the offseason. If we do improve we can be really really good next year. I'm kind of excited to see if Bruce can earn that paycheck we just handed him
