Penske South reportedly has offered the #12 seat to Brad Keslowski, currently driving the #88 car for JR Motorsports (Dale Jr.) Interestingly, Keslowski has turned the offer down. Could he have another Cup ride in the works? Does Dale Jr. have a Cup team over the horizon? Keep tuned in.

I think he'll end up at JR Motorsports in 2010. Or maybe take over the vacated seat of Mark Martin at Hendrick in 2010.

Or the most loyal person in the racing industry. To turn down a prestigious owner such as Penske leads me to believe that Kesselowski has to have a great ride lined up.

it leads me to believe he's getting bad advice.

and it may work out for him in the long run.

but based on each owners track record, i'd place more trust in Penske's word than i would Hendrick's word.

From what I read it's more of a loyalty thing. Brad feels as if he owes everything to JR and he won't abandon him. There comes a time where you have to do what's best for your career though. Either way, I hope it's for the best, he's worked hard enough to get where he is today to get a big setback.

I think Brad will go Cup racing with JR Motorsports. It will be a mistake if JR moves that team up next year, but I bet that's a good possibility since Brad turned down a perfectly good ride at Penske.

I believe it was said that Keslowski went and talked to JR about the 12 ride and he didn't want to tell him one way or the other so he suggested he go talk to "mr. Hendrick" about his long term goals before he decided. After their meeting he called Penske and said thanks but no thanks. Did they ever say if Mark Martin's deal was for 1 or 2 years? If 1 that could be his next move. There could be a "handshake agreement" or smoething.

i wouldn't trust anything that came out of Rick Hedrick's mouth.

Yeah, he pretty much screwed Casey Mears. I am not saying he is a "great" driver but Rick never gave him a stable working enviornment to work with. He made changes to his crew to suit his other superstars needs.
Him and Grubb were working pretty well together at the end of last year.

I completely agree. Let's remember that Rick Hendrick was such a crook that he had to be pardoned by the President of the United States(Bill Clinton,in the late '90s). In no way do I trust Slick Rick.
