All stats presented are from 2008 season.

Statistics among five players leaving Oklahoma (Assuming Gresham declares):

212 receptions
3,320 receiving yards
36 receiving touchdowns

Statistics of players still at OU:

138 receptions
1,571 receiving yards
17 receiving touchdowns

Differentials:
74 receptions
1,749 receiving yards
19 receiving touchdowns

It looks like this season's Heisman trophy winner will have some tough battles ahead. He's losing Iglesias, Johnson, Chaney, Smith and possibly Gresham. (Stats are based on Gresham leaving)

Based on these statistics, Oklahoma figures to lose a couple games.

However, Oklahoma still plays in the pass-friendly Big XII.

Advantage OU? Or will Bradford struggle?

Gresham and Trent Williams have both already announced they are coming back. OU has plenty of young receivers who have been waiting their turn. They won't miss a beat at that position.

I think for the most part he made a good decision in coming back and all in all will have a very good year.
As pointed out by hatvol96 there are several talented receivers waiting in the wings and several that were underused last year. Watch for Ryan Broyles to become a star with getting quite a few more touches this year than last.
It will take a while for the Oline to gel but that has become a talent rich area as well.

Glad to see these kids coming back to school..sure they wont be as potent on offense but they will reload and be fine.

I wouldn't want to go to Detroit either.

Does anybody think they won't have the one of the first picks next year. There is still a very real possibility that he ends up at Detroit if they don't take a QB in this year's draft.

I am pretty certain that Ou will be just fine on offense next year. Bradford will have plenty of options.

i very much doubt he will be drafted higher next year. not the best decision.
