LB will not be a big position for us to recruit. I doubt we will grab one unless he is at least 4*. Again, I may be wrong but I believe DL and OL will be our big positions to grab. May be some DBs also.

We offered him his sophomore year. He is a great talent and is very underrated. Per someone really close to him, he was trying to get in touch with Trooper a month or two ago to commit and Trooper won't answer. We need to either rescind the offer or take his commitment. I think we are waiting on Marlon Walls to go along with Lindsey.

Lindsey from Alcoa that went to JUCO. Yes, he will be a LB. He was told that before heading off to Coffeyville and has bulked up for the position.

I hope that's not true about Trooper not taking his calls.....I know these things go on all the time in recruiting, but it pains me to know that we would treat a kid that way.

Yeah really, if you have offered a kid and he truly wants to be a volunteer, you have to accept his commitment. That really stinks if Trooper iis doing that.

His coach has said UT is his leader but we are signing 3 LBs this class and they are waiting for the other 2 to commit first.

at least have the decency to take the kid's calls and be upfront with him about what's going down, but Im no recruiter so I could be completely wrong

They did. I just pointed that out. We are waiting on a couple other kids to commit before taking his commitment.
