Brady for MVP??

yeah, they can't get off his sack....i think that as the year goes on, you have to look at an entire body of work...

MVP this year....here's some guys that truly deserve it...

LT
Tikki Barber
Steve Smith
Edge
Larry Johnson, if cheifs get in to playoffs
carson palmer
shaun alexander

all more worthy than brady, this year....

Agreed....it just goes with the National Media love feast for him and the Pats. If he gets it over Peyton, Edge, Palmer or Alexander it'll be a complete joke of a MVP.

Yeah Tikki should be up there also. I love LT but he has games where he barely cracks 60 yards. Plus the Bolts might not even make the playoffs.

and that game Barber had over the weekend...man, that was awesome....he definitely should get a nod now.

I could see Brady winning it and deserving it. Pretty much the only key player to not get injured for New England this year... not to mention he's put up good numbers.

How can you call it "the system?" Charlie Weis is gone.

Well . . . I think it still is the same offense, but it's not like they are running the run and shoot either.

I think Brady would be successful in just about any offense.

I agree... no need to get bent out of shape about it anyway, I doubt he'll win the MVP. The guys that win the champinships rarely do it seems.

my opinion of Brady as a QB has changed a lot since he first took over....the guy is good. He could be successfull at other places, and that is a departure from what i used to think...but, MVP this year? i don't buy it. The Pats are the Pats....is he the single reason why they are back in serious SB contention? he's part of it yeah, but you look at that team, and there are guys all across the board that make a difference somehow.

to me, you have to look at guys that matter most to a teams' success...they guy that this team just couldn't do with out. If that guy weren't there, this team would be nothing. Tom Brady falls in to that category most years, just not this one....i believe they'd win the AFC East w/out him because the rest of the division is terrible.

This year...there's a few guys, and i've mentioned them above that matter more to their team's success and current playoff status/divison status than Tom Brady, and they have the stats to back up the MVP nod they should get.

Brady is the most overrated quarterback in NFL history. He is not the reason they won those Superbowls, it was the defense and coaching. Like someone else said, in another city he is mediocre

You do suck Gaydy :finger:

Amazing how Brady keeps backing into those Super Bowl wins.

Sure is. That guy is really fortunate, I mean as bad as he is and he still has those rings? I don't understand how they have won like they have with such horrible QB play. Brady is a very good QB and does it on a consistent basis. I am tired of the love fest the media has with Brady and the pats too, but the most OVE QB in history?....please. I put this one under the "He played at (insert non SEC school here) so he sucks" category.

Brady is a good QB, as good as Peyton? Not even close. Tom has had a dominating defense the past several years and been able to get home field advantage in the playoffs where teams have had to go into Fox Hole and play. This year the Colts finally have a solid defense (not as good as the Rats of past oh) and the offense is still the best in the NFL. I think Brady is overrated but as much as I hate to say it, he's not the most overrated....for that award see Micheal Vick.

Brady is not as good as Peyton but IMO he is top 5. I don't even like the guy but I have to give credit where it is due.

If the trend continues of the QB on the best team not winning the MVP, then look for Brady to win it this year.

Probably a moot point... Alexander has it locked up I'd say.
