Last year in 52-20 blowout loss to Tennessee:

Brandon Doughty 17/34 222YDS 1TD 5INT 6.5YPC

This year in 59-31 victory over a good Bowling Green (OH) team:

46/56 569YDS 10.2YPC 6TD 0INT 93.5QBR

He was amazing tonight and then it hit me how bad we tore him up last year.

He has improved by leaps and bounds....And he didn't have to navigate through Sutton and Randolph.

I think this is a great example of comparisons between teams that play cupcake schedules and teams that play real opponents.

Kenny Hill had 511 yards against USCe and that's all that I've heard all day. Doughty has 569 against a no name and I just happened to catch someone talk about it for five seconds before going to commercial.

USU won a lot of games last year, but their wins were against nobody teams for the most part.

I'll believe the hype on Keeton if I hear it on Monday. Which I wont because "we gonna whip dey azz"!!

We should put a pretty sound thumping on them.

I think the nation learns Von Pearson's name Sunday night.

Just a hunch.

The real question is what the hell do you have to do to get a 99 or 100 qbr? Thats one of the best stat lines ive ever seen and its only
a 93...

I think it's more of a testament to what an amazing coach they have.

BG was one of the best defenses in CFB statistically last yr. So was Utah St. This is why stats can be very, very misleading.

probably had nothing to do with it being bowling green

The battle of Bowling Green with two new coaches. Both coaches did well but I believe BG QB ejected early...2nd string QB looked great though. BG DC is on hot seat this morning.

For the longest time I though Bowling Green college was in KY and not OH.

Doughty keeps this up and he will play on Sundays but his worst game will always be the arse whippin Tennessee laid on him!
