Same as Wes if he showed he was good enough in practice then he would play. Ccm isn't a guy to play favorites, you earn your spot in practice.

This year, Golden. No options.

exactly. part of me is starting to wish golden gets more minutes at the 2 and let wash get some back up time at the 1 though. this way its put up or shut up for wash and that who issue. if he shows something maybe then you feel that he can be valuable next year, but at the same time you may realize he just doesnt have it and should advise him to look elsewhere freeing up a scholarship. at the same time we can see just how effective trae golden can truely be in the sg role he grew up playing.

Yep, golden is a horrible point guard. Averaging 6 assists a game and 14 points. I don't recall but I think that puts him near the top of the SEC for assists.

Just because we lose a game doesn't mean we have to change everything. We should have lost this game, not that badly, but we should have lost it. We should have lost the Uconn game as well, but we didn't. Where were the complaints then?

Either complain all the time, or none of the time. or at least learn the facts that Golden is playing out of position and is STILL one of the better point guards in the league in terms of A/TO ratio and APG.

The problem with this years team is that we do not have 1 consistently good player on the team. All players have their moments when they look good, but have just as many when they look bad. We have no one we can count on to be there every game. We need someone like Dale Ellis was. You knew he was going to score double digits every game and usually around 20 a game. If we had that player, then these other players on the team might be really good role players to help us win a lot of games.

hopefully jarnell stokes can turn into that type of player for us at some point. the thing with that theory though is players like that dont come around to tennessee all that often, there are ways to be good without guys like that we just are missing alot of pieces for what CCM is trying to do here. just be patient with him.
