Just heard an interview with him on local Gainesville radio. He's down to Alabama and UF but is planning on an unofficial visit to Knoxville to check out UT's staff this weekend. He's huge and can play either LT or DT.

This would be a huge pick up! We definitely have the right coaches to change his mind! :)

At least were getting looks from some kids that wouldn't have considered us. Going to be hard to pull him though. Huge kid, we could use him right away.

Yeah, sorry to use Scouts. They can't get anything right. This kid played mostly DT in high school and only moved over to LT his senior year to try and help get them to the state championship. He prefers to play DT in college but will play either. From his interview, he seems very mature for a highschooler who was on his way to 1st period.

By him wanting to take an unofficial to Knoxville after his Bama visit this past weekend, makes you think he did not have a very good visit. It said on rivals he was hoping to clear things up on his visit to Bama. Apparently it didn't.

We're lucky to have such a good vibe and atmosphere on campus normally. That may sound weird but kids are looking for a home away from home too along with great facilities, staff, and a chance to play on a national stage. Plus all that good food the athletes get can't hurt either. Hopefully it all meshes together into reason enough for him to sign.

So, Saban doesn't want kids to visit TN. This kid takes his visit to Bama. THEN decides to make a trip to UT on his own???? Heck yeah!!!!

He really sounds undecided between UF and Bama at this point. If we can make a strong impression and he sees how favorable our depth chart is at either postion he can play then I think we have a chance. It's still a long shot since he's an in state AL kid that Saban has made a priority.

I am hoping that he calls me back but a family member with lineman Brandon Moore of Montgomery, Alabama said that Brandon may be in Knoxville this weekend for an official visit.

Hubbs: "I just spoke with Moore and he is not considering Tennessee. He liked the visit here fine, but Tennessee is too late. Moore said he had his mind made up and will announce at noon eastern on Wednesday."

That's gonna be the killer this year. Everyone likes UT and their visits but we are just to late in the game to develop any type of relationships with these kids.
