Thank you for firing up the Cardinals with your comments. That is just what the Cardinals needed. Now, they're going to be playing with more emotion. :rock:

Phillips looked pretty silly when he said those comments. Glad he got what came to him.

If it takes comments from Brandon Phillips to fire up the Cardinals than there is something wrong with them. They should be ready to play every game at the same level regardless of what is said.

That was one of the bigger girl "fights" I have ever seen. I agree if that's what it takes to get fired up in a pennant race in mid August then something is very wrong.

the cards have won 7 div titles, 2 nl pennants, and 1 world series since 2000. i seriously doubt they need phillips to get them fired up.

all his comments did was make himself look like a clown.

When I said fired up, I meant for them to get out of their mini slump. They played great for a while after the all star break, but since the trade deadline, they entered a little slump.

It's fine. Yes, the AAA affiliate for the Cardinals play in Memphis. I've been to a few games this year. The Memphis Redbirds have the highest rated minor league ballpark in the country. It's beautiful and it kinda looks like a smaller ,but newer version of Boston's Fenway Park. I hope Memphis wins the bid for the SEC Tournament.

I have seen it from the outside, never been to a game though.
