Brandon Spikes injury (rumor)

The rumors about the important player (not Tebow) going down with an injury are about Brandon Spikes.
I have heard from significant time to just a high ankle sprain.

Even though I hate Florida with a passion I would hate it for this guy. I respect how good he is and his impact. If its serious I bet he will regret the going pro decision

He can play as much as he wants, after September 19.

how many of us are hoping tebow gets injured?
Not career threating but a maybe a severed finger or something along those lines

Your right, how many of us have actualy gotten mad when a star on the other team went out hurt. "Oh man I wish he didn't get hurt so he could still run all over us".

How many got happy when Robert Edwards for UGA awhile back got hurt when he was running at will on us?

Now I do not do cartwheels when they get hurt but we do get happy. I feel bad for the hurt player but I am glad their gone.

I never wish an injury on any student athlete... that said, I wouldn't mind him having some bad shellfish the night before our game or something...:)

lol - ray goff might still be coaching if edwards didnt get hurt.

I remember when that QB for LSU was injured during the SEC Championship Game and I was ecstatic. Then the twerp 2nd stringer came in and whooped us. Beginning of the end for Phil

NOT ME!!!!!!

i couldnt imagine sports writers and ESPN alike going anymore gaga over Tebow than they already are. however, if Tebow beats everyone with an injury, OMG. PLEASE NOOOOO!!!!!

i want to be spared anymore future Tebow glorification.

we all know that unless he is severly injured he will play through an injury. hes just that kind of player.

Dont forget, Not only did they loose there starting QB, they lost thier starting RB.

Aside from the obvious reason for me to want to see Tebow get through the season unscathed, I'd also like to see him injury-free as he heads into the NFL just because at this point I am really curious both as to where he'll get drafted and how he'll do wherever he goes.

Man I sure remember that game, Edwards was having a field day on us and when he got hurt I felty bad because it was a nasty break but I sure felt relieved. We barely won by a late Jeff hall field goal. 29-30 If I remember right

Yeah you forgot to throw in their first string runningback also. I kept screaming put a freaking QB spy on Matt "The run up the middle" Mauck the whole game. how hard was it to do that for God sakes.

ESPN and their bevy of minion talking heads are entertainers.. They entertain as in comediens, clowns and wanna-be actors... It is their job to make outlandish statements, ridiculously glorified assertions and mountains out of molehills. If they reported only the facts like journalists the channel would only be on 2 hours each day except when they have games to show.

It seems that some of those ESPN clowns must have studied under wrestling's "Mouth of the South". :crazy:

:ermm: LB Brandon Spikes has a sprained ankle
and is in a boot. It's being said that it's for precautionary reasons. The trainers don't believe the injury is that severe, but at this time, they don't know if it's a low ankle sprain (two weeks) or a high ankle (six weeks).

That being said, he should be ready for the Tennessee game in Week 3 if nothing else

I dont. Beating Florida without Tebow would not be near as big of a deal and give the whole Florida nation an excuse. Not that beating Florida will probably be an issue but I want Tebow there if it happens.
