Why? If he has any intentions of playing on Sundays, this change was eventually going to happen anyway.

He wasn't really going to have a future in the NFL as a QB.

How do we know Miller will be a good WR? Did he play that position in highschool or something?

I know enough about Urban Meyer's offense to know that Miller will be used in a variety of ways.

He could line up at tailback, WR or wildcat QB, and you have to account for him on every play...in addition to containing that monster Elliott.
