Here are some questions I am sure several people would like to know.

How/when/will they announce?

Are we supposed to find out by when they send their papers in for the draft?

What's the date that they have to declare by?

Thanks in advance

"Bray is declaring thread" doesn't count

Good article by the times free press on bray and the draft.
Keiper seems to think Bray needs to come back.

If I am Hunter or C.P.

(1) I wait until a receivers coach is hired

(2) I also get some official word from the NFL on what my projected draft position would be. 1st round, early 2nd round, 3rd round...

If I am C.P. and my grades are good, then I will return to improve my draft status. I work out in the off season and get stronger and faster. I also study the playbook and learn more than just 7 pass routes.

If I am Hunter, I stay and hit the weight room to add weight to my body. I also study the playbook with C.P., so he can be better.

If I am Bray, I will return and improve my draft stock. I work during the summer with Downs, and Pig, so that I have no timing issues with my newest receivers.....

It would be really great if they all came back along with the rest of the juniors. Our team only need coaching and some defense and we would have been relavent last year. We would have won 10 games with a good defense. Could have beat bama with a great one.

How would they go about gauging their interest before the draft? Are they allowed representation to check around for them? Or Is this something they would have to do themselves

Well Bray did show up and take the final exam in the class I shared with him. Do not know if that is good or bad for us.

Hunter has a kid, so he needs $. CP wouldn't of been eligible for the bowl due to grades. And since we have a new coach, I just want to start fresh and not be Bray dependent IMO.

If I am CP then I'm gone. The dude is going to be a 1st round pick. I also have friends that go to UT that say he doesn't even go to class lol

Bray and Hunter need to stay imo...especially Bray. I don't see him getting drafted til the 3rd round and Hunter wasn't half the player he was his freshman and even last year before he got injured. He may want to go so he doesn't risk getting injured again.

Dont get me wrong, it would be good for all three to stay and all three could be first rounders next year if they work hard, study playbook, learn their routes, learn to read D's at the line, and learn to check into the right play.

BUT, there seems to be some attitude issues from Bray that I personally don't care for. (ie talking down to superiors, arguing, pitching fits, etc).

Another thought is do they really want to try and learn a new system for 1 year? Or do they take the easy money and try to improve their paydays once in the league?

If it were me, I'm taking the money.

Most on volnation would leave early to be an instant Millionaire. Life changing money is better than buming around for date or pizza money.

I say CP will wait until grades are posted for the semester, and I say Hunter will declare soon. I think Tyler Bray will leave us hanging until the last minute...

If grades are an issue for CP, he does have next semester to get those in better standing. If he just doesn't go to class, that's a different issue in itself and he probably wouldn't make it next semester anyways.

I think they should come back. I would try to improve my draft stock because if you go early and don't get picked until after the first round your money drops significantly. If they raise thier stock they could make more than double the money thier first year. Odds are they won't play much thier rookie year so not really a chance to make more money.

Yeah.... About that.... CP has like... a 0.2 GPA (exaggeration, but still). If he stays at Tennessee, he would have to bring his grades back up to just be able to play. I don't take CP as being a person that is going to buckle down and study when he could go to the draft.

Hunter has been playing like he is scared all season. He has been thinking about one thing only, and that is that he is the number 1 receiver for the draft. He ain't coming back.

Bray - I have nothing to say about him.

But the point I am trying to make is that there is no reason to think that any of those players will be back to play at the college level next year. I know, just repeating everyone.

If the ncaa were really true to the student-athlete credo students signing sports scholarships would be required to stay four years, with the exceptions of flunking out or hardship cases subject to review. :twocents:
