THANK YOU
Through the last 3 seasons you guys have made TN football fun to watch and made Vol fans keep hope that we could beat any team on any given day. We were in games against LSU, UNC, USCjr, ms state, UGA, Missouri, and many others. You guys kept that swagger and stayed the course even when your own fans have questioned your heart, skill, intellect, and character. For everyone saying that you guys don't have what it takes to make it in the NFL... You got 10 times as many fans that believe in you and look forward to seein you say your name, followed by University of Tennessee during monday night football games.

They all are pretty good players, some better than others, but let's be honest the last three years have been the worst any of us have felt as TN. If you are over 30 years old, you would never have thought this could happen at TN. So they may do well, so be it, they may not, so be it. I remember the losses and I don't really care how close we were. I would take Tee Martin, Peyton Manning, Casey Clausen, Tony Robinson, Andy Kelley, Heath Shuler, and Erik Ainge and a team that can win over this bull the last few years. Fine I blame Dooley, but if you don't want to lose than stop losing.

If swagger is what bray brought to the team then I hope we never recruit another QB with swagger. Leave all that crap to receivers and defensive guys. I want hard nose nerdy swaggerless QBs (like Manning), RBs, TEs, and OLmen.

You had a million likes from me until your last sentence. Bray and his swagger were the only horse Dooley had to ride from day 1. If you look at the players he started going after u can tell he was just wanting/waiting for the bray swagger experiment to end. Someone mentioned in another thread how soft spoken both Worley and peterman are so obviously Dools wanted QBs that were swagger-less. Just IMHO thats all...

I blame Dooley for the loses, but I am saying the players need to stop losing if they have so much swagger, not sure how I lost you.

Don't forget Zach Rogers. He was big for us this year.

I think he should be the MVP of the team this year. We all were excited to have CP, JH, and DR in our WR corps and win Darick went on his way out then Zach Rodgers stepped in and did just fine. IMO this was one of the best WR/TE groups we have had in a long time.

If this is the extent of his wild side then I say he's a good kid. No DUI, drug charges, or theft. This is about par with peyton manning mooning some girl in the locker room before his senior year. No one has questioned his maturity and ethics lately

Take it for what is worth, for whatever number or reasons...Peyton won at TN and Bray lost at TN, no other stat matters to me other than that.

To blame the offense for not scoring 50 points a game is rediculous. These guys laid it on the line week in and week out. They hated Dooley but played for each other and the university of TN. Why do we keeping trash talking bray when our offense put up 40 points a game... Without a great running game! What about smith, sentimore, couch, Moore, or McNeil ? These guys play defense. You know, the unit that was the worst in school history.

I understand and IMHO it's misplaced blame. The situation we were in prior to his arrival is to blame for the losses IMO.

It's like blaming a buddy that borrowed your car for it breaking down in the middle of the road and he was unable to bring it to a safe spot before causing a large accident. And it turns out you hadn't gotten an oil change, tune-up, tire rotation, etc in the 5 yrs you've had it.

If I came out to my car and found my windshield caved in with glass all in my seats...and then having to pony up $500 to get it fixed since that is my deductible because some idiot busted it out on purpose...I would be beyond pissed with no thought to Manning mooning somebody that causes no harm, no destruction, or financial hardship to anyone.

I won't even talk about character and getting beat by a WR at QB by UK with all that QUIT going on.

Because for all the faults the def had...not playing for 60 mins wasn't one of them. They had thier problems and the O needed to score more than they did...pt blank. The teams success was put on thier shoulders this season and they didn't do it. How many times did the D go out and get the ball back for the O to put the game away and they didn't do it?? Stopped fake punt attempt by fl and then the O goes 3 and out, mizzou game 4 th qtr the D got the O the ball twice to put the game away while the score was 28-21 and what they do with that?? Did the D fumble the ball in the 4th qtr vs miss st while we were in scoring position, etc etc??

Key thing is the O was suppose to win the game and cover the growing pains of the D and they failed to do so. Bray is the leader of the O so therefore he takes the blame just like he enjoyed the credit and the big man on campus lifestyle when there was success.

Except he threw beer bottles at cars and acted like an idiot on a jet ski. I feel for the game warden who turned him in and got reemed out by idiot Vol Nation for simply doing his job. Poor guy. Try to do what you need to do and everybody sticks up for this little Cally turd. Bray is a toxin that has luckily been pi$$ed out.

What if DuhRick hadn't acted up. The triplets plus Zac and Rivera would have been unstoppable. The run game would have gotten 300 a game cuz defenses would have had to played a 2-4-5 D to slow down the passing. lol

While were at it, what if we didn't switch to a 3-4...that could have been worth 10 points a game too. And the injuries too, blah, blah, blah!

"We were in games..." So this is what it has come to. We didn't win a single one of those games mentioned. Anyone can lose. Congratulate them on things they did well, not for almost kind of winning but not.

Yes its what UT has come to. Like it or not it has been spiraling down to this for yrs and now we are on the 4 th coach in 5 yrs. Not wanting to accept the fact that we have come to a very low pt will continue to hurt us. Once accepted then we can start moving in the right direction. Otherwise we keep pushing the can down the road hoping the next shiny new coach is able to fix it.

The "We R UT" mentality and living in the past as if it's going to solely get us out of this mess needs to end now!

Alabama didn't ever accept their fate. They went out and bought the best coach they could get. Seems to have worked...
