Bray will never

He can if he focuses on learning the game and stops trying to rely on his talent alone

If he does, he could be good

If not, he will be the next Jeff George.

All arm, no game

start in the nfl .
if ainge and casey couldnt make it no way in hell bray does

Yes he will. Bray has better physical attributes than both Ainge and Clausen put together, he just didn't have leadership skills. All you need in the NFL is the physical tools....just take a look at Bryce Brown.

Arian Foster will never be an NFL starter. Hell, I doudt he will even make a roster. He fumbles too much.

Chavis will never be a defensive co ordinator in a winning college program. Hell, he runs the prevent defense too much. Florida, Alabama or LSU will never hire him. He will end up at a bottom feeder college.

Really? How well did that work for Jamarcus Russell and Vince Young? To be a solid QB in the NFL you must know defenses and how to read them.

he should have stayed and got a year of being coached by a good coach

This seasons crop of draftable q.b.'s is weak. Bray will be a 2nd or 3rd rounder, depending on U.T. pro day results and NFL combine results.

Should he return next season (1) the receivers will all be in experienced (2) New offensive system (3) crop of college draftable q.b.'s will be more populated (4) risk of injury to Bray.

Neither returning for his senior season or entering the draft early are good options but going to the NFL is the best of two bad options.

He is making the right decision based on his options. A 2nd or 3rd rounder is not likely to start anyway. He will sit behind Rivers at S.D. or will end up in K.C. He can learn the system and learn how to be an NFL q.b. and be a career journeyman or an occassional starter and earn a paycheck.

Is that really needed? He's a Vol and therefore I wish him the best. I don't see how anyone can fault any jr for leaving early if they have the opportunity. If the money is there take it while you can and see where the chips fall.

Best of luck TB. It was fun watching you sling the rock. Go Vols!

I agree that he needs to stay one more year to read defense on what they are trying to do on stopping the offense from scoring. He would be better off IMO by learning more in detail of the job of QB. Look at Tebow & Sanchez right now. They are not worth a damn to any team just by going to the NFL. It's all about learning the game & putting pieces of the puzzle together to make it all jell. Just cause he played that position in a college setting doesn't mean it will carry over into the NFL. I'm sure the team that gets him will take a look & evaluate his talents at that position. He also needs to mature a little more & develop better leadership skills too.

I wouldnt write the kid off,
if he is counted on next year to start i dont like his chances
if he is put into a solid system and can mature a little bit then he may be fine.
Ainge didnt make it due most likely to drug abuse
Clausen just wasnt an NFL QB.
So comparing him to those two guys is pointless

Bray is no where near the QB Ainge was. Ainge mad up for his weak arm strength with being accurate and efficient. Bray is just all arm and lucky. He should have had about double the picks he had this year had it not been for WR's knocking balls down. Ainge was a victim of going to the Jets and his addiction. It's a shame that someone can do something and not realize how harmful it is. He's clean now and he, along with Casey are my favorite two QB's!

Why would anyone even want to play for fans like this. You either cut a player down when he leaves for the NFL or boo them on the field when they have a bad game. He doesn't need to stay and learn a new offense, he is more than talented enough to make throws in the NFL. Why would a 21 year old kid turn down millions to waste time trying to beat Vanderbilt in a totally new offensive scheme. He never won the big games because we've had a terrible coach that established a losers mentality backed by the worst defense to step foot in Neyland. The only thing we need to worry about is why we spent over $10 million dollars so we can all learn a lesson in patience... again.

I hope Bray does well in the NFL... It was a good move for him, and for the Vols for him to move on now..

I would not write him off, but hope he can find a good spot to play and stays a long time in the league...it will only help the Vols in the long run

Good grief I am beginning to think you look like your profile picture. If you are going to be horribly wrong about something at least use proper English.
