Have you ever thought that maybe his negative attitude and apparent lack of concern about the team could be based on 100,000's of adults failing to see football is a game played by boys being told how horrible they are? He has done a great job 90% of the season and I for one hope he returns.

If I were Bray, and in the future some prospect asks me about my time at UT, I'd say "well, if you want to go somewhere where the fans make up lies about you and expect you to live an angelic existence, never get a buzz on beer, never take a hottie out on a jetski, then go to Tennessee".

He busted his butt for Tennessee. He was treated like absolute shlt.

A player mentioned during the fla. game that the crowd hushed and still hasn't been behind them. Need free jack and coke in the student section.

Excellent post.

The critics who say he doesn't care are the ones who really blow my mind. He was in tears after a tough Georgia loss and was so upset after Mississippi State that he couldn't talk to media. Under the right coaching, his on-the-field aggression could've made him a superstar. I just wonder what program certain posters have been following this season...

Bray has played great at times and then somestimes not so great. I do hope he returns. Anyone playing the quarterback positition should expect criticism from time to time. Especially with the record of this team.

If Peyton was winless against our rivals, his legacy would be unfavorable too.

I cannot believe people lining up to support poor little ole Tyler. He of the - we do want to go to no crappy bowls, hope those cars don't move that I am throwing beer bottles and golf balls at - crowd. He of the - it's everybody else's fault than mine, they ran the wrong route, and a free ride to a quality university is not enough pay crowd.

How many SEC wins does he have in his 3 seasons? How many winning seasons has the team had in that period?
Is the program and school better off for having given Tyler the opportunity to have a free education and play football in the best conference in America?

I wish I had never heard nor seen his name or Lane Kiffin's that brought him to us. I do hope that he gets his act together and mans up at some point.

You are exactly right. Bray cares as much or more as anyone on that field and he has the potential to be a star. Fans can definetely be crazy and sometimes hateful. I don't think our fans are any worse then others. Just look at some of the fans in the NFL.

I do agree that Bray has been given opportunities that very few will ever have. Such as the starting quarterback for Tennessee. How many people in the world can actually say this? Receiving some criticism just comes with the territory. I think he can take it like a man. I don't think that he would want to play football anywhere which the fans did not care.

Just curious, but at 20 years old how many stupid things had you done that you now regret? He has done some stupid things but he is still a kid. As for putting blame on others, did you watch some of the routes CP ran Saturday? He is very lazy in his route running and JH drops too many easy passes. If I were a player that wanted to win I would be pissed too when others didn't carry their load.

It's not a matter that he in fact did it, but rather he was dumb enough to get caught. I'm sure Peyton drank, as did Clausen, and Ainge, but they weren't caught throwing bottles at cars. I'm sorry, but that whole "he's young, give him a break" bit is horse****. I know more people that haven't gotten caught doing things like that than I do that did. Why? Because they are intelligent people and don't let themselves get into a situation that could be bad.

Gruden would do this kid wonders. Alone with Hunter and Patterson. They would be a higher draft picks if they worked with Gruden for a year.

Absolute garbage post. That kid has taken the blame in every bad game he's had. His head coach didn't but he's manned up everytime. After all the crap he's put up with from idiot fans like you and having to play for an idiot head coach I think he's done well.

That is the overall negative attitude towards the entire program. One of the main reasons we can't get out of this funk.
