Yes. He was extremely innovative in Minnesota, where he would tell Daunte Culpepper to drop back and chuck the ball as high and as far down field as he could and let Moss outjump everyone for the ball.

That is why it has been no shock to me that he can't generate any offense whatsoever for the Ravens in all these years.

It would never happen, but thinking about Adams and the KNS crew trying to kiss Billick's butt brings a smile to my face.

They did that on short plays too. Moss is an offense.

you've forgotten the part where Culpepper really sucks, but was a Pro Bowler under Billick.

Culpepper wasn't even in the league until 1999, the year that Billick left the Vikings to go to Baltimore. Randall Cunningham was Billick's quarterback for that awesome 1998 offense, the one that also included Robert Smith and Cris Carter

...while throwing to Randy Moss. Randy Moss left, and Daunte Culpepper immediately began sucking. You don't see the cause and effect there?

...and what's really hilarious is that Brian Billick's biography on Wikipedia has already been updated to say that he was the head coach of the Ravens through December 31, 2007. :lolabove:

Brian Billick - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This just cracks me up. They changed the man's bio within 11 minutes of ESPN.com posting the story that he had been fired.

that's kinda funny since it didn't work even a little bit in Oakland.

I don't think he ever coached Culpepper. If he did, I don't think Culpepper was the starter.

When was the last time an owner's public vote of confidence for a coach ended in him actually keeping his job?
