whos kirby puckett

Wow, I was about to make a smart@$$ remark, then I saw your birthday on your profile. Thanks for making me feel very old

Kirby Puckett is a MLB hall of famer, and hero of the Minnesota Twins 1991 World Series win over the Braves. Besides that, he was a genuine nice guy, a rare thing in sports today. (Think the anti-Barry Bonds) Check out the next SportsCenter, I'm sure they will have a huge montage/history lesson, to fill you in on the details.

Man, that sucks. He'd really let his body go after his playing days. He had that John Kruk build about him to begin with.

Sad. Kirby seemed like a guy who got joy from playing the game, that's rare these days.

It broke my heart. Kirby was one of last greats in my lifetime. I wish his family well and hope that all remember him take good thoughts. He may have had mistakes in his personal life, but his baseball life was the last of the the true great baseball gods. God bless you Kirby, and may you live in peace now.
