Even if Schaeffer does end up on the short end of the QB battle, I think he'll still be on the field. Fulmer has a history of turning athletic QBs into good receivers (Jermaine Copeland, James Banks, Kelley Washington, CJ Fayton).
Ainge is the guy who I would expect to transfer if he loses out since he is a prototypical QB who might not be able to switch positions.
I'm going to hold out hope that we can keep both of them happy and maintain the 1-2 punch, but either way the program is the big winner. Seldom do you get two top QB prospects and get to audition them yourself and pick the best one.
