Don't know, but know why he was asked to leave UGA. He didn't like how hard UGA's practices were. He also didn't like discipline for misbehavior. Napier is a good guy. My best guess is he got in a coaches' face after the game.

Yeah I got schooled several years ago from some folks in the know on the bad and ugly of why Cox left UGA, but I chose to focus on the good.

Our defensive recruiting sucked at the time, so Cox appeared to be a nice pickup from the portal.

Mullen initially struck gold in the portal with guys like Van Jefferson and Jon Greenard, then the rest of CFB caught up while Mullen’s recruiting got progressively worse.

Maybe I'm old school but I don't want an athlete on my school's team that is such a distraction. Civility and restraint should be taught early because it will last long after a football career will.

Just read where coach Napier kicked Brendon Cox Jr. off the team.Nothing about legal problems,only disagreement between coach and player.Nothing said about problems before.Maybe Napier will turn out to be a two day stubble version of the right honorable Jeremy Beldar,coach ad nausium.We can always hope this is true. Go Vols and screw Florida!
