It is just a shame that we've had these three guys for four years, and we're just finally seeing what they can do. ALL three of team are GREAT receivers.

They played exactly how they were coached: poorly. That hasn't been the case this year. The result has been the emergence of possibly 2 All-American receivers.

Troop is definitely a difference for the recievers... and of course coach Cut.

Bret had another solid game tonight. He's just as important as anyone else on that team. I hope he can continue to grow here in the short time he has left.

Cottam had a real nice catch negated by a holding penalty... yet somehow they never called SC for holding.

true!! true!!! and you know even if meach and swain eventually are all american receivers...THAT's GREAT! But, i really hate Bret doesn't get as much recognition. HOWEVER, i do realize it's a team sport!!! and i am happy the WR's (ALL of THEM) are doing soooo well this year!!!

Man, that still burns me up. I counted 10 freaking holds by SC and not a one got called. There could have been more. It really burned me up that on two of the holding plays they threw the flag and called something on us. Those refs sucked.

Actually Smith had a very productive soph season with quite a few TD'S in 2004.

P.S. These (Meach, Swain, and Smith) were all HS All-Americans. Who says star ratings in recruiting means nothing?

He was getting the ball before because he dropped a lot of passes.

I think the juxtaposition of this season to last season shows that star ratings don't mean that much if you don't have good position coaches.

Yes, but don't expect even good coaches to make that signing class's sleeper recruit (meaning not highly recruited), Bill Grimes, a star.

Better hope they can do something special for our last recruiting class.

What about Troop on the sidelines tonight?? I loved it. When we had to call the TO...he was hating it...he lives this game.

I think we may sign one or two great receivers based on the resurgence of our passing game this year.
