Well, it looks like this will be his last (maybe) season in the NFL. His final (possibly) season was not a good one, but he has had a Hall of Fame career with plenty of quarterback records to his name. His consecutive starting streak was something that may never be matched and he will definately leave a mark on the game of football. He wasn't my favorite player by any means, and his off-season waffling and naughty picture taking didn't help his cause, but he will go down as one of the best QB's in NFL history. It won't be the same NFL without "The Gunslinger". I wish him the best of luck and an enjoyable retirement (whenever that OFFICIALLY may be).

Great qb to be sure, but he's had a brutal last 3 years. Doesn't help his cause.

So glad he didn't go out last year. His persona definitely needed to go out with lots of Ints, sexual allegations, and several beatdowns. Enjoy retirement, hope the Mrs. doesn't divorce ya and clean ya out. Cuz that'd just mean you do come back.

He had an outstanding season last year.

Too much to type the first go round. With all the Crap surrounding him- the brutal summers, the sterger stuff, the choke, this horrible season, changing teams, mounting injuries...it's just been painful to watch. Statistically he had 1.5 great seasons in the last 3 but they did nothing for me as a fan.

In my perspective it was more of a burden to have him crammed down my throat than it was to watch one good season amongst the oversaturation.

Can't wait for him to be gone. Never been so sick of hearing about every little detail of someone's life every time you turn on ESPN.

maybe, hopefully, he'll sign a one-day contract with the Packers and then retire as a Packer.

I don't know why she would divorce him now.

It's not really a big secret Favre chased women.

What's kind of funny is Tiger Woods went to sex rehab in Brett's hometown and after Tiger got out he would have to come back to Hattiesburg every so often to attend daily sessions and when he would he would stay at the Favre Farm with Brett. Ha, he usually had his wife or ex wife or whatever she is now with him though so him and Brett probably couldn't go out pimpen.
