I don't think the math works on that, does it? We already know we're getting Janacek, W Martinez, Stripling and Thigpen, right? It would seem that if we add another defensive coach, we would have to do without a TE/ST coach (because the other 4 offensive spots are already filled, assuming Tee is coming home).

I'm out on Van Gorder, he just has that lame, cheesy, late 1970's porn star look to him.

Unless we are not going to bring in Tee and decide to go 6 coaches on D and 3 on O, which won't happen, Jancek will be DC.

Van Gorder is so overrated, he had a good season at Georgia like a decade ago, he's been mediocre since then. Auburn's offense got everybody fired, but their defense wasn't very good either.

Yes, Zook or Shannon. Van Gorder just doesn't excite me. That being said, I don't think there is another defensive coach being added since I think Jones already has his DC on the announced staff.

VanGorder would be a nice add, especially if he were able to get the following Liner/Lawson/Bower to follow him to UT.

I like VG as a posistion coach. DC Im 50/50. However the Barber in me, wants to give him a shave and a haircut and get him out of the 70's.
