is becoming a liability when the ball is in his hands.

I dont like to bash people, and good for him he last 100 pounds, but his play his atrocious.

When the ball gets in his hands three things come to mind
1)Horrid Pass
2) Fumbled the basketball
3) misses a point blank shot

He needs some serious fundamental work.

He missed everything...Maybe since we need OL he could beef up and head out to practice with the big uglies:crazy:

I was thinking the very same during the game today! He has terrible hand-eye coordination! Looks like butterfingers out there!

He's playing tentative and soft. Lots and lots of indecision. A little drive would go a long way with him.

As it would with most of the team minus Tatum and Hall. Williams has the size to dominate anyone in the paint. He's Dexter Pittman, II if he ever finds that spark.

Pretty sure you could say at one point during this season that every contributing player is/has been a liability for a stretch.

That would be a failure. He's the softest guy on our team. That's saying a lot.

I actually burst into laughter when he missed the dunk at the end. I had just told everyone I was there with how soft he was and Kenny Hall should take all of his minutes.

Hall looked much better last night - I like how Hall goes right to the basket when the ball is tossed his way. He doesn't put the ball on the floor like BW does.

Plays soft and timid. Bruce needs to go after the guys that took others lunch money, not the ones that got theirs taken.

Exactly. I have said multiple times to the guys in my section, if I was as big as Williams, I would either be an All-American or I would be in prison.

Well he has no shot. He can pass a little bit. He should at least foul people hard, since that's about all he's in the game for. His post play is non existent and that's sad for a guy as big as him.

For going on 3 years now I have been hearing how Williams is going to surprise people and end up being awesome and it still makes me laugh. He's lost a lot of weight.......that's about it.

Brian Williams has been a huge disappointment. In his freshman year he was raw, but he had a couple of good games that showed potential. I thought that Bruce would develop him into a consistent force in the paint. Boy, was I wrong.

Tentative play, no toughness, bad hands, bad decisions, etc. He has not improved since his freshman year. I may get ripped for this, but at least he hasn't gotten worse every year like Tyler Smith has. Of course, Tyler started out pretty darn good.

hahaha. I cracked up reading this. I agree. Brian Williams has been soft since he came and puts the ball on the floor to much. I have seen some decent passes from him at times but he doesn't wonder off around the perimeter and gets a few of those rebounds I wish Chism would get. We are surely going to be abused next season if he is the starter.
