In Khandahar in 2003 I was given the opportunity to fly an Orange flag with a white Power T on it Directly underneath the American flag at our Battalion Headquarters. It Was a very proud Moment for this VFL... Veteran for life and Vol For Life.

Thank you sir for your service. that's an awesome display to loyalty. I hope someone will show this to the team. i wish I had thought of doing that during my 22 years. I was always amazed at seeing the Power T in the most unsuspecting places. Gotta love it though. Stay safe VFL. GO USA and GO VOLS

Hooah!! Captain...

I brought a UT flag with me here to KNB and flew it here. It was awesome. The flag now hangs in our squad room until we leave for the states. I wear my orange every chance I get. I have my national championship panoramic hanging in my hooch!!! Can't get enough of the Vols.... GBO....

Kuwati Navel Base, Been there. I was Camp Arifjan in 2005. My Reserve Unit out of Knoxville, 844th Eng Bn. built a loading dock and painted it with a UT theme. I wonder if it is still there?

Man, that just shows how special these guys are. That they can go to that h3ll hole and not lose themselves is something. Lug a brick while out in the field just to show their team loyalty even in the face or mortal danger? Those guys are a breed apart. :salute:

I bet the loading dock is still there. I have been up to AJ many times and they are still building up there. There are guys in my unit here that were here in 04 and 08 on our previous rotations and they are amazed by how much it has grown in the last 9 years. They do have a UT flag hanging in the chow hall up there too.....GBO.....
