Bates was one of my favorites! However, Del Rio fired him from the Jags after only one year! He is now in business and helping with his kids HS team. I don't know if he was fired for his coaching ability or some other reason.

I think RAndy sAnders would make a great special teams coach....of course in his new position he wont have time to be the O.C. anymore. Rats! i guess we will have to live with it.

I really think Randy missed his calling. He's got special teams coach written all over him. In fact, I think we should all call in next week and suggest that to Phil. What a great special teams coach Randy would be.....

He would be a good hire because, unlike Fulmer, he wouldn't accept all this crappy play on special teams--and he would be aggressive.
