How was his spring? I haven't heard much about him. How about Wilhoit?

I haven’t seen any footage of him. Who could he be compared to in the family?

I've heard that he's good but could use some improvement. He will probably develop fine.

I thought that during the orange and white game, he had some decent kicks. He kicked one off the side of his foot, but Fulmer took the blame for that. Fulmer said the he yelled for Colquit to kick out of bounds right before the snap. Truth be told, he looked a lot better in the warm-ups than he did in the game. That's just nerves and I hope that he gets them under control before they go to UF and LSU.

Anyone remember that year where Leaverton came in and stressed us all out? What year was that anyway. It wasn't too long ago. 1999???

Britton will come along just every other punter in that family has..... :good:

Thanxx id been lost bout the hoitster' He had a few missed one's last yr but he did bong in the big one! Special teams ahhh that had to be what Neyland meant? Its live or to die with! Wilhoit had the knack' with any improvement he's a game winner again......Glad it wasnt anything major and should be ready asap for 2 adays and many reps...I dunno about the Colquitt"light" Read above CF took some blame etc....
He ripped a pretty 15 yarder off to the peeps pending the view hard right/left in row 10-12? Wow! Looked like me pizz'n peeps off that invite me out for Gorf, catch a fieldgoal thats cool sit on the sideline and catch a punt?.....He isnt the man' his name? he just! Sure id love to see him come along and im a fool if he does' I want him to do well ! Hope he hasnt rode coat tails into the point of shame....Wasnt happy and i know it was the O/w game.....But nerve's? Its nothing but practice with a few extra friends watch'n......Pray he adjusts his" past"it would be enough' For any skill player to be tossed! His performance in a game situation is lacking.IMO..Please dont flame! Just wonder about this kid? Its common sense boot the ball and pin them back....We've had our share of luck & skill in the past' just hope the bank hasent ran dry......thats all

That was Peyton's Senior season, 1997. His worst game was early in the season on the road against UCLA in the Rose Bowl. Hi punting almost put UCLA in position to win.

I just hope that Colquitt has more poise on the road than Leaverton because the crowds at UF and LSU a much more rowdy.

He made up for it with one of the greatest open field tackles ever -- on Peter Warrick no less. He didn't just tackle him to prevent the TD - HE STUCK HIM!
