Could Bru get a medical red shirt and come back next year?

Now the idea:

Maybe for the rest of the season to show support for Bru and the team everyone in the stadium can shout “Bruuuuu” while the visiting team has the ball to make as much noise as we can and of course show the support for an injured player.

I would also suggest standing and stomping on your seat, but that has nothing to do with Bru.

Just an idea and I’m sure there will be those who disagree.

Here's an idea to honor Bru:

How about all those "Medical Professionals" and wannabes on VolNation who were diagnosing Bru while he lay on the ground and also those writing off his future in the Game before they even got him off the field man up and apologize publicly.

Little I've seen on this forum has made me more angry.

I saw posts of broken fibula/tibia, career ending. Pathetic and shameful. Aside from medical assessments with only limited TV images, no person has a right to limit the capabilities of a person to recover from injury. I'm not counting Bru out and look for him to be on the sideline in 2 weeks giving support to this working to fill the void he'll leave.

GO BRU! GBO!

Yes, I believe it has been stated that he is done for the season.

I hate that for any player. I just thought something like this might comfort him that he is still on the fans minds and being honored for the rest of the season.

It's always fun in a stadium seat when someone is stomping their feet. Not everyone can stand the whole game.

I'm with you, saying it's broken when it obviously is is one thing, but speculation on the rest of his career is ridiculous. I've seen many a player come back from much worse. I know Bru has a year of eligibility left and I hope he comes back to try to get drafted higher, but if not, good luck to him.

His recovery will depend on the severity of the fractured ankle. If you type in fractured and dislocated ankle, they say depending on the severity of fracture 4-6 weeks up to a year. So there is a lot of variable leeway there. I just hope Bru makes a full recovery then makes the decision he wants to make. GBO

You should’ve seen what other fan bases were saying on YouTube. It was disgusting, all for attention to get ppl mad and give them what they wanted. I had to turn off the chat and come to volnation. That’s sad but what you seen was tame , I can’t stand ppl.

One beautiful thing I saw was the SC team giving Bru silent respect. Many took a knee. Many bowed in prayer.

Meanwhile, many VOL fans were for some dumb reason playing doctor and some even writing off his future as a player.

I may lose my VolNation Card for saying this but for 15 minutes (and only 15 minutes) I had more respect for the SC football team than some of our fans.

GO Bru! GO VOLS!

Bru will be lucky to ever be able to go jogging again, much less play football. It could happen but it's a brutal injury.

From everything I’ve heard about that young man, you might be underestimating the fight he is going to put forward.
