If you can put on that Tennessee jersey and take the court against our biggest rival in basketball, and not give everything you've got, then you do not need to be playing. Period.

If Pearl thinks we had no shows, then why were they on the court? I'm sick of this not ready, lack of effort, tired excuses after every loss. If they aren't ready to play and don't play with effort, they should be on the bench.

It's more than just effort, they truly look clueless at times and that's not effort related.

Does anyone else think this was directed mostly to Harris. He played scared all night and I remember after UK had a put back and a foul Williams slammed the ball and was looking right at Harris. IMO he looked scared and timid and Jones was in his head from the first block of the night on.

Doubt Brian was directing anything about effort to anyone after last night's display where Harrellson goes off and UK gets 4 offensive rebounds off free throws en route to a +10 rebounding margin.

If they aren't able to get up for playing UK at Rupp then they need to rethink why they are playing at all.:furious3:

Funny how they usually seem to not give the effort when they play at Rupp. For the life of me I can't understand why. To me there are 2 games on the schedule that you absolutely have to get up for more than any other 2; @UK and @Vanderbilt because those are your 2 biggest basketball rivals and both of those places are the worst places in the SEC to play. To win at those 2 courts is golden.

This is the most ridiculous call out ever. Brian Williams played like a mopey 9 year old. There were several occasions, I think I went back and counted about 4, that he didn't play any defense what so ever. Just looked around, no butt down, no hands out, just taking up space. You want to call people out about hustle and effort, yet Harrelson, who wouldn't see time on a high school girl's squad, looked like he was All-World against...Williams. Please, Brian Williams is a joke. Go back to practice, start actually playing hard and stop talking. I am sick and tired of this garbage.

Not an excuse but i thought Tobias' ankle made him look very tenative....I know he's definitely not 100%

I might add Are we forgetting we played Kentucky at Rupp areana...a Wildcat team that was desperate for a win....
