It's good to see our Basketball teams play with character and determination. Coach Pearl and Coach Summitt both coach with discipline and DEMAND respect from their players. Yes, it does feel good to see them holding their players accountable, and getting the most out of their talents.

Don't be overconfident in this team. While they look really improved considering the talent we have, this team will lose a lot of games this year. Pearl's system is fun to watch and the guys are playing hard but it's going to be rough against good competition.

I haven't done enough research to know much about either team, if they have any big physical players then we are in trouble. Neither Wingate or Patterson was able to stay with ETSU's big man. And like OWB said, depth is a HUGE problem.

Those two are both nice players, I am just not sure it's enough. I am sure we will win a couple of games we are not supposed to.

I'll be there Tuesday night. Had a BLAST at the ETSU game. Great crowd, great atmosphere. This team is fun to watch. They play hard. They are outmanned and undersized, granted, but I don't think an NIT bid is out of the question, perhaps a 16-13 record (counting the SEC tournament) The SEC, outside of Kentucky, is very soft this year.

I will be there on tuesday. This team is much improved which shows what good coaching can do. Asumnu is really coming around.

These guys are going to lose some games though but Vol Fans should give them a lot of love and support.

I was really considering getting season tickets for the men's and women's BB teams this year...Is it true that the only seats for sale are in sections 315-317. Thats what I was told. If someone wants to see the game from a good seat maybe 20-30 rows from the court what can one expect to pay a scalper? just curious. I want a decent seat if possible.

OH! I saw that 315-317 and thought "that was close to what the score could have been.

I'm excited about these guys, but they HAVE to learn to play defense. Freaky is right about Wingate and Patterson, I expect to see Childress get more playing time, he showed some nice things on Friday.

I don't know what game you watched on Friday, but he certainly played better than Patterson.
