TBH, a fan had been screaming things at him the entire game. But, dude has got to keep his cool.

The fan was on him the entire game, but you've got to stay professional and block that out. The fan wasn't the reason they lost that game.

Where as, Coach Barnes simply watched the replay video with officials one time.

And then went searching for Coach Stackhouse to congrat him on a well played game.

Bruce is still a little waaaaa waaaa waaaa baby.

For better or worse, Rick is a grown azz man!

Who has not been as deep in the NCAA tournament than BP. But enough already with this gotta tear down someone to prop up someone else. This is middle school at best behavior coming from someone who is impressed with "grown azz men"

Pearl did all of that with way way way less talent. I appreciate Rick Barnes but his ability to "in game coach" pales in comparison to Bruce. Remember the ass kicking Pearl gave Barnes when he was at Texas and had Kevin Durant?

I don't get this criticism at all. Assembling talent is one of the chief responsibilities of a college coach. If Pearl's had less talent, that's on him.

Now your arguing just for the sake of arguing. I merely commented that I believe that Bruce is a better in game coach. No slight on my part to either of them.

You wrote that Pearl has advanced farther in the big dance than Barnes has. I replied that Barnes has, objectively, the stronger tournament resume. You replied that Barnes's record is only stronger than Pearl's because Barnes has had more talent. I replied that it's the job of a head coach to assemble talent. Now you write that you merely commented that you believe that Pearl is the better in-game coach and that I'm arguing just to argue? Carry on then :D

That “ass kicking” was in double OT lol

The following year was the 31-5 year. One of our 5 losses was a 19 point beatdown at the hands of Barnes and Texas.

I think we both can agree if not for a blown call against Virginia? Auburn was in the championship game. And if you just want to keep arguing I'm pretty sure he led Southern Indiana to a national championship. But hate on. Bruce was exactly what Tennessee needed when he was hired as was Rick. I don't try to tear down a coach to prop another one up.

Pearl’s first season was a 17 pt beatdown of an Elite 8 Texas team in Austin. Pearl has had his number over their careers.

If not for a blown call against Purdue we’re at least an Elite Eight team in that same tournament
