You have to realize that all this press is great, but think about how many top recruits in the nation are hearing about the University of Tennessee.

I would be that Pearl has had more written about him in the last two months than Green and Peterson combined in 8 years.

Best thing I've heard lately is someone here at the Nation quoting a UT assistant as saying that High School coaches are calling us on behalf of their kids...

It came from freak a while back, discussing coach Jones....

It was also interesting to hear today that this staff has had high school coaches and players call them about recruiting. Kids that would never have given us a look in the past. Jones said that based on our season and exposure we can go visit any kid in the country and he will know what we've done at Tennessee this year.

Really is great stuff to hear!

That's pretty funny. I like how the media feels at home with Pearl. So much so, that they all take little jabs at him. It's not because they don't like him, but because Pearl is such a fun guy, they know he won't take it the wrong way.

On another note, why does everyone think that Orange is such an ugly color? It's really not that bad. I would rather have orange than some boring color that 40 other schools have. :yes:

Speaking of media, just checking to see if you guys heard about ESPN's "THE SEASON". They arrived in Knoxville last night and began following the team around today in everything they do and will continue doing so until at least the Auburn game. Now that, is publicity!
