Bruce Pearl on Finebaum next

Finebaum pulled a classless move by pushing question about Pearl sanctions.... I thought he was on to talk about Pat and Bruce did a great job talking about support Pat and how he was going to spend more time with Tyler.

Come on. It just came out that he's going to get slammed by the NCAA. That's Finebaum's job to ask him, and Pearl put himself in the position to be asked about it.

I have no idea how it all went down but if it's how it sounds, you're wrong.

If I embezzle money and I choose to publicly put myself out there to support a friend with major health issues, it's trashy to talk about me when I only showed up to support them.

That may be his job but given the timing and knowing Bruce Pearl's motive, it sounds no better than TMZ harassing celebs. It's not like Bruce Pearl agreed to come on the show to talk about that crap. He came on to talk about and support his friends.

If you can't see the difference than I don't know what to say... sounds pretty classless. Maybe I'm missing a piece to the puzzle but that's how it's coming off.

You do that by releasing a statement like what Geno Auriemma did. You don't do that by going on a syndicated radio show dedicated to discussing relevant sports news, especially when you are relevant sports news.

Not sure of the timeline, but didn't the tweet come down on the sanctions right before or right after he went on the show? Doubt he knew the punishment was going to be leaked at that moment.

Either way you're right. He's fair game if he chooses to do Finebaum.

Didn't see a geno statement.

If Finebaum asked him to be on the show to talk about Pat and then questions him on the sanctions than it is extremely classless.

it's classless considering the circumstance and the obvious reason he was on the show, but professionally, asking him about the sanctions is the right thing to do.

The whole show is classless. You probably couldn't put together a whole set of teeth with every caller that calls in.

The first guy that called in after he announced it was the epitome of class and said, "Why is she asking for privacy during this time by making a public announcement?"

If you truly need that answered for you...
