actually said Bruce should be fired over the Vol's loss today. What an absolute moron, but sadly that is becoming common place for some "so-called Vol fans". Anyone who feels as this joker does is utterly stupid. However, after hearing some of this guy's previous ridiculous remarks I probably shouldn't be shocked at his stupid comments tonight.

I don't think he should go (That's CRAZY talk) but I feel like I have been let down today.

All the defending and standing up I have done this year has now become fire for everyone who doubted me.

My "Bruce Pearl is a friggin God" on the whiteboard I have defended from erasure all year took a big hit when he didn't get SEC COY.

My "I would jump of a bridge if Bruce Pearl told me to" on the whiteboard has been bashed to a pulp.

I need help.

I would stand by those convictions. He still took a bunch of average talent and won the SEC East with a .750 winning percentage. Won some big games, had a lot of fun doing it. Got the VOL nation to care about basketball again en mass.

BP is still the man. Consider the season, not just the last game.

Good point brother. It's just hard. Most people "live for the day".

But don't get me wrong. I am proud of our BasketVols.

Yeah, we should keep this is in perspective... great season no matter what happens next week.

I am let down by some of our BANDWAGON FANS....What he did with this team was amazing....No inside game a 6'4 Power Forward and no bench to speak of and still 21 wins...I mean forgive them if they are a little tired they played their hearts out and gave all they had. I am absolutely PROUD to have COACH PEARL as my coach. I can't wait for the next several years when we get some Post Guys who can play a little and then see how the outside game will open up even more....BUT THAT'S JUST ME!!!!!!! :rock:

Oh I am proud of this team, don't get me wrong. But it has been hard lately taking these punches from other fans.

The SEC tourney loss has let me down, but I am no bandwagoner. Too much big time talk about not giving up, no resting, winning the SEC is the goal kinda thing.

There is no doubt I will cheer our Vols come NCAA time. But it is a kick in the testes to go down after 1 game. :(

It's nothing new. At least we have another game to play this time. ESPN is going to carry all the Vols games too, so we better do something good. :cross:

ESPN doesn't carry the NCAAs. CBS has exclusive rights to all games.

Yeah, you're right. THIS is what I was referring to. Didn't mean to say carry the Vols...meant to say follow.

I agree with this random radio caller. We should fire the guy we just gave a huge raise. That way, we can worry about paying off Green, Buzz, and Pearl at the same time!

As an added bonus, all the big-time recruits Pearl landed us will decommit! That way, our coach for next season will be faced with the same near impossible task of getting an undersized, low-depth team to win in the SEC. It will be even more fun to watch what he can do without CJ Watson's leadership. Plus, I'd say Chris Lofton would almost certainly transfer if Pearl got fired. Finally, with those two out of the way, we can really start to play some ball.

Not to mention, every coach in the nation will be jumping to get on board a program that fired a coach that got them their first NCAA tournament bid in five years during his first year as coach. We better can him quick. Go Vols!
