Don't kill the messenger just thought it was a lil interesting. I'd like to see the reaction if it was posted to a barn board.

Anyone who tries to compare Dooley's love for UT, passion for his job, and the way he embraced this University, the fans, and it's traditions with Pearl wasn't paying attention when either guy was coaching here.

I don't care if it makes me a target, I'll say it. I loved Bruce's coaching style and passion for Tennessee, and I still do. I think he would've had the Vols in multiple Final Fours if he had been at UT another 15 years. However, I think the situation playing out the way it did, with first lying to the NCAA, trying to get Aaron Craft's family to lie, and possibly lying to his superiors in the UTAD... that's a you're fired situation 100% of the time.

Still, I'm rooting for Pearl to rebound, even if it takes a few years for him to move to a better BB school than the Barn.

- I loved Pearl when he was our coach.
- I wish the whole situation had been handled differently.
- I would have welcomed him back after the show cause penalty was served.
- He's not our coach now.
- I now hope Donnie Ball is the next Big Thing in College Basketball.
- I hope pearl does well, unless his team is playing UT.
- I too enjoy BBQ.

Go Vols!
