Many people makes comparisons between the 2 since their records of NCs at Bama are so similar. I compare how each handle wins & losses.
For Bryant, the wins were about the players & assistant coaches. The loses were followed by the “we were outcoached today”. Bad calls, bad plays, he used the outcoached response the same.
Wins with Saban is about the players and the “process”. The losses (even sometimes the close wins) are a steady stream of “we’ve played 8 weeks” or “inconsistency in officiating” or “injuries”. He & Lebron are the crybabies of American sports scene.
