brown looked like he was trying to lay really low and didnt want to be seen. The kid looked like he was beyond the point of being stressed out. I bet he can not wait to put an end to this fiasco.

He didnt come to watch practice imo from what I saw when I was there. That makes me think two things: 1. Its a done deal he was just finalizing stuff at school or 2. he isnt coming but was here to see his girl.

i saw him on the field for a total of about 10 minutes then he left fwiw. And he was just chatting with lace and some dude. He didnt want to be seen imo. He sure didnt look like a guy who was analyzing our practice

I along with my son were at the practice last night. FWIW I thought Bryce was not all that interested in what was happening on the field. He only stayed about 15 minutes walked outside and returned only to walk across the field to leave. Not a lot of people even knew who he was. The chant started when a couple of guys noticed who he was when he was walking across the field. He was right in front of us the first time he was on the field and you could hear people asking who this guy was who's that guy. That sort of thing.

rivals article came out and said that he came down cause he wanted to see Kiffin's offense.

You have been waiting to purchase a beautiful and expensive sports car for years. You have narrowed your choices to 3 or 4. Each has their own advantages. You have been test driving your finalist for weeks. You know that whichever 1 you purchase you will have to live with and drive every day for the next 4 years. On Monday you must march into the dealership and sign your name to a contract. It is the weekend and you can only test drive 1 for a final time. Which do you choose to test drive? I would choose the 1 that I am leaning towards.

He may or may not select UT. My hunch is that he is leaning towards us and this weekend is a confirmation. Also, with the reputation of this Staff I have a hard time believing that they will blow it. Ultimately he is a high school kid and you never know; but I am optimistic. Regardless, the Sun will come up on Tuesday.

There was a push by KState fans to get Harper to transfer to KState so he could play QB there, but you'll remember they were also pushing Bryce to choose KState as well (part of the whole facebook ordeal), but it started a rumor that "Harpattack" was actually considering the move, which he has refuted (as per your article link).

Anyways, Harper will be in Kansas on Monday, that's a fact. But I didn't ask if it were tied to BB or not... So who knows? I still think that BB chooses the Ducks, but that's just my homer opinion, I guess.

He was on campus last night, and stopped at the scrimmage-practice for about 10 minutes. At the practice, a player named Paige got hurt because he awkwardly hit a brick wall...

There are 3 pictures of him at the practice, two good shots where he doesn't have a smile on his face, and a 3rd blurry one where he is smiling. He's also wearing a UT Orange jacket, but a really dark orange polo shirt. He's with one older friend. In one of the good photos, a blond girl is standing in front of him, but you can't see her face. People say it is his hostess Lacey.

There has been a rumor that he's visiting LSU on his way home right now, but that's unsubstantiated and seemingly unlikely.

Otherwise, he may be staying at UT for a bit and meeting with coaches, or he may be headed home. That's all I got so far.

I think the lsu rumor is just that-- a rumor..

Also, doesn't that concern you will, that he hasn't been out west since the 7th of November? Or has he taken an unofficial visit since then?

Concerning Oregon's coaching change:

Kelly said he spoke with half of Oregon’s incoming recruits yesterday and would speak with the other half today. Bellotti said he got word of his decision to all of them Friday, by email or text or phone, and none has expressed concerns as of yet. The other elephant in the room is Bryce Brown; Bellotti indicated (without mentioning Brown by name) that Kelly has been the lead recruiter there anyway, and Kelly declined to comment: “I’m not going to break any NCAA rules on my first day,” he said.

Honestly, we think that was a fluke. We've had times when there were many more people online and we had no problems. The problem with the Bryce Brown thread is that once threads approach 10,000 posts, they tend to start slowing things down, so we're creating a new thread . . . and we're going to Mod this one a little more tightly to keep it focused.

Threads typically reset right around 10K. It keeps the Nation running smooth.

I was surprised too. There were only a couple thousand online. I suspected sabotage.:eek:hmy:
