Yeah, You dont know the info VSPN now. and he is the "media" and has alot of inside roads. IMO it is close to a credintaled (sp) writer as we have had on here.

My credentials are in the immediate future, if they aren't already on thru way to me. Not that it means anything, just clearing the info up.

So Sab,

What do you expect the visit this weekend is about. Just to get his parents on board, shore up some last minute questions about UTK, or to just go enjoy some time at his future school?

My personal opinion? This is complete conjecture but here goes: I think that Bryce told the coaches in so many words when he was here that this is where he wanted to play ball. When he got home and discussed it with his parents, they encouraged him to take more visits -- thus the LSU visit and the planned, but never finalized, Miami visit. Bryce has talked his parents into UT, but they want to see it for themselves to know where their kid is going to be spending the next 4 years. The visit on their own dime is huge, but to me, the bigger thing is that they are taking that visit instead of the Miami one who I think was our main competition.

The kid may be a good kid, but I question why he is hanging with this guy. The NCAA has already investigated his "handler". If he comes here, this puts the program at risk, because his handler is already on the radar. Here is the article that was in the Wichita Eagle newspaper:

.

How does an investigation of Butler put us at "risk"? At risk of what?

From what I can tell it only puts us at risk of a couple of championships.

I hope its to sign a LOI

He can't sign his LOI with coaches present.

Pursuant to NCAA Bylaw 13.1.6.2, any in-person, off-campus contact made with a prospect for the purpose of signing a National Letter of Intent or attendance at activities related to the signing of the National Letter of Intent is prohibited.

I did not know that!

cool,

I think that it has to be about some sort of final convincing either on his part or his parents. If he was 100% all the way across the board then he would just shoot his LIO over and announce Monday. But also as I suggested I guess it is possible he just wants to visit Knoxville in general because its going to be his school and he is excited to get back.

well said. I totally agree with this analysis sab

Well, can he take it back to the hotel and fax it over?

i was recruited last year and you cant do that either. You cant be on your visit at all, and there may be more.

I'll also add that he visited Knoxville with no intent of ever going to UT...IMO.

i think he had interest, but i wouldnt go that far as saying he didnt want to come

The reason I think that is that if Bryce had any intention of attending UT, which by his comments preceding his visit it certainly didn't sound like, he would have brought one or both his parents, Butler or any combination of the three.

His first visit to UTK was like taking a girl out because you have nothing else to do on a friday night. But then he fell for her, and is now taking her to meet the family.

If it is indeed true that bb is coming with his parents it is a done deal. They would not waste their time visiting UT the weekend before he signs unless it was at least a huge UT lean at the moment. Unless his parents (especially his Dad) comes out of knoxville unimpressed we will have the #1 recruit in the nation come monday. I believe they are trying to keep a good relationship with UM right now because of his brother being a current player at that school. Game over
