If it is indeed true that bb is coming with his parents it is a done deal. They would not waste their time visiting UT the weekend before he signs unless it was at least a huge UT lean at the moment. Unless his parents (especially his Dad) comes out of knoxville unimpressed we will have the #1 recruit in the nation come monday. I believe they are trying to keep a good relationship with UM right now because of his brother being a current player at that school. Game over
I concur. Why visit a school, with your family no less, on the weekend before your Monday announcement, if the decision hasn't already been made.
I also was interested to hear the coaches in yesterday's pre-practice presser talk several times about their "dream" scenario of having a power back/speed back tandem, a la Bush/White. Perchance they already know that the dream will become reality?
No one knows that he is a "selfish" player. All we have that really points that way is a bunch of internet chatter from fans frustrated that he didn't choose their team already.
I'm not one to give the "benefit of the doubt" too quickly but if this kid were poision I think CLK would have already pulled the plug.
Why do we want him though? Maybe because he's a college ready RB who at 6' 215 supposedly has Coker-like speed and acceleration.
I have shook the kids hand and watched him play. Standing beside him he is a good 6'1", and a solid 220. I can assure you this is the fastest kid I have ever seen play ball. He makes Coker looks average in every arena...imagine this...build of roger craig, speed of bush, and the cutting ability of barry sanders (well...getting there) but the way he cuts while at full speed is absolutely sick. He will be the best running back to wear the orange ever. If he comes of course...and stays healthy. He reminds me of a charlie garner but much quicker through the hole and breakaway speed like LT. He actually could be a young marshall faulk.
The relevant question right now is not whether VSPN is credible, but whether Brown and fam. will actually make the rumored trip on their own dime. When there is some confirmation that Brown has arrived in Knoxville, then there will definitely be a reason for some serious optimism. But until that time, I'm doing my best not to get my hopes up...

They have much different running styles. BB looks more bruising, Oku is a slasher, Reggie Bush, Charlie Garner, looking runner.
I would love to have them both. I hope everyone is correct about the late visit. If so, it looks very good to sign BB too.
Oku said they had talked of playing together. Maybe they are still talking!!!
