My tuition at ETSU is right around $2,700 a semester. That's not including books, room & board, or anything else.
Come on, guys. It's not tuition debate thread. What does this all have to do with Bryce Brown?
He'll be on scholarship.
UTK= $19,618 for instate/ $32,576 out of state
UTC= I paid a lil under 3,000 for a entire year. Granted I did not live on campus. If you live on campus that is another couple grand. Also got to add in the cost of books. Either way, still way cheaper thank UTK.
Orange Swarm...I wasn't starting a fight, just saying. I was accepted at UTK but chose to stay at UTC due to family, and the fact I didn't want to be in debt the rest of my life.
I am sure that all 6,000 posts in this thread are completely on topic. I am also sure 3,000 of those posts are asking "When will he committ" or "Where is Bryce going" worded in one way or the other. Just responding to a question, geeze
Man, I hope I get to use BB in an orange and white uni on NCAA Football on 360!
It's 2009, and I believe you to be incorrect.
Is that supposed to be a comeback to TenD's posts? Was is really worth starting a new account to post that?
Had your homer friend not spent all his time posting over 200 similar nothings about Oregon, TenD might have spared your team the humilation of...
The VolNation UT > Oregon Chronicles: Parts 1 through 3 by Tenacious D.
Good point, Wheaton.
Here are some reasons which I believe deserve strong consideration in the continuing discussion of Bryce Brown's recruitment, as it relates to his possible choosing between Oregon and Tennessee.
I don't see where a comparison between Tennessee and Oregon is even open for reasonable debate at this point. In fact, other than the intrusive posters incessantly stating (read: hoping) otherwise, it likely wouldn't be.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice

In almost every conceivable category of either significance or importance, there just is no comparison between Oregon and Tennessee - and the facts which support this conclusion are both inarguable and unavoidable.<o></o

If Tennessee did not go to another bowl game for the next 26 years(!)- AND - Oregon went every year between now and then.....we'd then be tied......in 2035. <o></o

and what would you put their % at?opcorn:
I'm just curious... you folks around here have or have not seen/heard the clip of Bryce talking about how when he goes to bed at night, he dreams of playing in an Oregon uniform?
I'm not saying we'll get him. Especially in light of the recent rumor.
I'm certainly not saying that your chances aren't reallllly good at this point.
But please - all this dismissing of our program's chances is just ridiculous in light of the way this recruitment has gone.
I am pulling off an elaborate hoax, where I somehow managed to find a guy to act like Bryce Brown when Bryce wasn't doing interviews, and basically map out Bryce's next moves before Bryce had. He's the stuff...
Also, I have somehow managed to fool Tony Basilio into believing I do a radio show, to the point that he allowed me to do his show, without ever meeting me. Not once.
Lastly, I've got everyone who reads this thread fooled into thinking Bryce has given me some information, which surely can't be true, b/c you know, no one will notice when it all turns out to be a lie. I'll be able to save face. Maybe I can buy everyone a teddy bear.

I heard it. It was in an interview with Jeremy Crabtree. An interview that Crabtree said he got the impression that Bryce wasn't really interested in UT.
Well. Take that as gospel if you want. I'm sticking with what I know. I'm sticking with what Bryce has told me and what his actions right now are verifying to me.
But you do what you want. You are an Oregon fan, so my concern for whether or not you believe anything on this board is about as low my concern for whether or not you or wheaton ever post here again.
hey, i'm right there with you on that one and i'm a chem major as well. glad to know i'm not the only one who spends all day every day studying and doing homework.
as for BB, i wanted to comment on his potential unofficial with his parents this weekend. i think it means that TN is his clear cut top choice right now. i think it has been fairly well documented that arthur brown sr would like for BB to join AB jr at miami, so this trip is about selling the parents on knoxville. i think it is fantastic for us and i honestly believe BB LOI might be signed by the end of the weekend. take it FWIW.
Take it as gospel?
Ok let me try this again, since obviously I wasn't clear enough in my earlier post.
I think you have a GREAT chance at signing him.
I think WE have significantly LESS of a chance at signing him, especially in light of the recent rumor(s.)
I DO NOT think you are lying.
All I'm saying, is that Oregon is a serious consideration for Bryce Brown - which is something that many of the folks here are not willing to admit to themselves.
