Thought I would make a new thread so we didn't have to keep bumping the other thread about his dad.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said Saturday, Aug. 11, he came away impressed with RB Bryce Brown after the team's preseason opener. 'Bryce is a really smart kid. He's picking things up well and then he's a big, physical kid,' Reid said. 'He's got good speed and good moves so you got to see that. It's important, though, that he continues to fine-tune himself as we go here. Like any young player needs to do, he needs to continue to do that. But I would tell you he was one of the positives coming out of the game. I thought he did a nice job.'

Oh yeah, Brown will make the roster. Just a matter of what point he quits on the Eagles and moves back to friggin Kansas.

I know its mop up duty in this game against the patriots but brown looks good.

They did a nice piece on him and showed his Tennessee highlights.

Man I wish he didn't walk out on UT.

He clearly is.that elite back we needed. He could still.be on the team this year.

He will definitely make this eagles team.

From what I saw of him tonight, he didn't run out of bounds. Looked good. He got winded there at the end but I tuned in late. Not sure how much he played.

Gone but not forgotten. Looks like Bryce will make the 53-man cut and stick w/Philly. Personally, I wish him well. He had morons around him collegiately.

Bryce Brown - RB - Eagles According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Bryce Brown "appears to have the edge" on fellow rookie Chris Polk for a roster spot.

Brown has rushed 19 times for 102 yards through three preseason games, while Polk has taken the rock just 13 times for 51 yards. Brown has four catches to Polk's five, and has surprisingly held his own in pass protection. The Eagles recently discussed moving Polk to fullback, suggesting Brown has a big edge for No. 3 duties, and that Polk hasn't shown anything special as a runner.

Good luck to him. Wished it would have worked out better for him here. He went along with some bad direction from someone he should have been able to trust.
