ESPN just had some breaking news that Bryce Brown is rethinking his comittment to Miami. They said he is now reconsidering Clemson, Missouri, Oregon, and Tennessee. Anyone else heard anything about this?

He's decided to wait along with Oku until signing day 2010. Veeeeeeeeerrrrrry dramatic.

OMG, these guys. Something must be going on at the "U" because I thought he was a lock there to play with his older brother. I have heard everything from USC to OSU and now you throw the other names in the mix...it's a head shaker.

These are still teenagers. They have people all their highschool lives pulling them in many directions. Some of these kids just need a few days after things die down from NSD to evaluate and decide on their own.

Only for about a month... With our lack of O-lineman i dont see us as having a chance, but we do have a knack for kick ass backs, soooooo....

Wouldn't be the first time someone has done it, and with the way his "mentor" acts, wouldn't surprise me at all.

I'm not sure if this was posted already, but Chaney went to see him at 11PM the night before the dead period. He is delaying -- but Tennessee has put the hardcore press on him. I think we have as legitimate a shot as anyone else right now.

We got no highly recruited running backs in this class or the last so the depth chart has to look mighty good to Bryce Brown. We may have a small shot.

True. Bryce Brown was also the #1 rated RB on our board (along with most other schools). However, the staff has been quoted behind doors as saying this kid is extra special (talent wise). Whoever gets him is getting someone that is rare talent.

what makes me think the surprise is bryce brown is that we told oku to look around. the other time we did that (thigpen) we got someone better to replace him. (boyd and petty are different). to argue my point, lol, is that he has never visited. so its probably Jackson, but the longer this BB saga goes on, the more time we have to develop a relationship with BB. and that is very good.

Do you people honestly think that they don't get cash or at least something thrown at them. Thats why its such a big deal and big business now. I have a personal friend who went to a big college out of high school. He didn't have **** and came home the first time after season over in a new car. Wonder where that came from? lmao And he never really played at all and ended up leaving. Wow people, don't be fooled. These kids are not in it for the education, its who pays the best.
