If we can beat Bama on Friday, the rest should sort itself out as I expect Minnesota to beat Illinois, NC State to beat Virginia, Missouri to beat Ole Miss, Butler to beat La Salle, Ok State to beat Baylor and I really think Arky will knock off Kentucky. If all that happens, we should be sitting pretty regardless of upsets in other conference tournaments.

Who to root for in Boise St/San Diego St??? Looks like they are both right there. Boise is a 12 in bracketology and sdsu is a 9. That said, Boise just beat sdsu in the last game of the regular season....

I hope and pray MTSU doesn't get in after their quick exit from the Sunbelt tourney. That would be another spot taken.

I think these teams are 90% safe. Particularly Illinois and Minnesota. That is not a bad enough loss either way to kick them out of the tourney.

If Cal were to lose to Utah, that might put them on the bubble.

I think Temple is in after beating VCU. A loss to GWU might make them nervous on Sunday, but I still like their chances.

Southern Miss - UAB/SMU 1:00 CBSSN
Iowa - Northwestern 9:00 ESPN2

Southern Miss will not get an at-large bid. They have to win their tourney.

Iowa would have to beat Mich State and Ohio State. They're effectively done-zo

As poster above says, this is really favorable for us. We just need to keep winning.

But, it helps that NC State plays Virginia, Oklahoma State plays Baylor, and LaSalle will most likely play Butler. That could be 3 quick exits for 3 teams clearly on the bubble.

We need to make ESPN show more SEC BB. They treat us like a stepchild around tourney time. No one outside of the south sees most of our games in the SECT

Let's go Providence!

Hopefully the Friars can start tourney week off on a good note. A Cincy loss today would put them in the bubble conversation.
