Northwestern and Minnesota have definitely set up a scenario for a Valentine's Day Massacre for the loser Sunday.

And I like Notre Dame's chance better than Louisville's.

Pitino has become pathetic. He has his cronies go sniffing around any and every NBA opening, then acts offended when people ask him about it, as if he's so noble and so committed to the 'Ville.

Perhaps instead of expanding the field to 96, we should do away with conference tournament auto bids. That would free up a few spots each year for more deserving teams. There will always be a bubble, but teams who are below it shouldn't get a back door into the tournament for one weekend of work.

Well, at least the Nets had enough sense not to bite on the offer. Do you think there is anything to these Calipari-Knicks rumors floating around? I don't really buy it because I think they want to give D'Antoni every chance to be successful.
