Your opinion...has Bud Adams surpassed Al Davis as the creepiest owner in the NFL?

And people wonder why I am ashamed the East Oakland Oilers use the name Tennessee and not Nashville.

Yeah, al Davis still has too impressive a lead for anyone to be catching up at this point (guy took the time to write a pretty much open letter to a university to tell them the guy they hired was a liar and that they made a stupid decision/mistake)

Such a classy individual. However, I am thankful he brought the team to Nashville.

He may not have passed him as the worst, but he's working hard at running Davis down. In the span of 10 years he's managed to take a team that was one of the best in the AFC and turn it into a complete laughingstock. He basically ran off the longest tenured coach in the NFL and replaced him with a guy who is the worst, most inexperienced coach in the league. I've loved the Titans since they came to Nashville, but the events of the last offseason have me seriously considering either looking for another NFL team who's ownership at least cares a little.

Fisher = Fulmer

This may be true, but hiring Munchak is equivalent of us hiring Chavis after Fulmer "resigned."

No it wouldn't have. At least Chavis was worthy of being a coordinator. Bud Adams must have thought to himself, I certainly don't want to pay the kind of money it takes to get a guy with head coaching experience, but to be honest I don't even want to pay what it would cost to get a guy who was an up and coming coordinator. How can I be even cheaper than that? I know, I'll just promote some random position coach.

Chavis = Heimerdinger...would that really make you feel any better?

And there are guys with HC experience on the staff FWIW

Ok, I'll concede that I guess I'd rather have Munchak than Heimerdinger, but that's only because Heimerdinger has cancer and can't phyiscally do the job. That's not exactly a ringing endorsement of Munchak IMO.

No question we could have done better than that. Adams went the cheap and lazy route.

it was really too late, too

the timing of the situation the titans were in was pretty much the same as that scramble UT had to make to find Dooley when you know who left

If Young would have been on the team this year, then I would have said it would have moved him into a tie for first, but he did at least finally agree it was time to let go of his golden boy.
