He was the first African American captain of an SEC team in the late 60's....played for Kentucky, Wilbur Hackett.

I haven't seen any such admission at all.

I think it was a defensive reaction. Still, he gave a heck of a shot.

It was my understanding that he told them to quit using him as a pick on the defense and they obviously didn't . Untill after that play anyway .
