Weve got Bush...weve got Bush. Could not happen to a better man. He is a waste. Only meaningful thing he did after he won the Heisman was Kim Kardashian.

I get the decision to take it away, but the guy was still the best player in college football for a couple of years. He earned the Heisman.

True the guy was ridiculous, Young deserved it that year though IMO.

Not true. The Heisman was voted on before the national title game. IDK that anyone but the most diehard longhorn homer that would've voted for Young over Bush till that point. Question is does Vince get it now?

they said it will remain vacant, which is the best way to handle this

vince had even said about this earlier that he wouldn't want the trophy if he were getting it like this

I bet Bush is just petrified at being stripped of a trinket he's already cashed in on in a big way.

I know it's voted before the NC like always. Even then I thought Vince deserved it. He's the only player ever to throw for over 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 in the same season while also having 38 total tds. I also think he meant more to his team. Texas had a ton of talent, but they weren't as talented as that USC team that they played. Therefore Vince had to do more whereas USC still had players to plug-in where Bush was.
