A black stripe on the freshman QBs. It is more than obvious that Dobbs is better than Worley. And keep in mind that Ferguson was actually running #2 but has a leg issue. This kid comes in against the #2 team in the midst of an arse whoppin and looks poised.

cant even compare the two.. I love dobbs but he isn't facing the number 1s... crowd is dead.

he sees the team practice every day.. you don't.. he has worked in football for longer then you I assume based on your posts. so just shut it.

Ferguson might be even better. It's easy to look in hindsight. I've been crying for the freshman too, but keep in mind that Joey Matthews and AJ Suggs both started in front of Casey Clausen. I truly think Butch was playing for the future and wanted to redshirt the freshman. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I do think Butch knows what he's doing. Don't be so quick to think you know more about football than our head coach.

He was facing bamas best when he came in. They starter taking them out in the fourth.
Their back ups are 4* anyway.

Not true. Dobbs was facing about half the starters and the crowd was amped as hell cheering for Bama not to give up a TD. I'll give you that some of the pressure was off cause we were already being boat raced but that's all. Dobbs has played very well, on the road vs the best team in college football.

Most of the starters played the whole game and he stepped in vs the no 1 team in the country instead of a community college. I think he will start the rest of the year.

I remember another freshmen who came in after a QB went down.. Peyton M... Dobbs is good now...

Hindsight of sideline coaches always seems to be 20/20, huh? Seriously, after the Georgia game, everyone was saying that it was great that we stuck with Worley. Now, suddenly, everyone is jumping on Butch for not having benched him for Dobbs.

I don't blame him for trying to redshirt Dobbs, especially after how Worley performed against the #6 and #11 teams in the country and how well Dobbs can play. An extra year out of Dobbs would have been amazing, especially with the recruits we having coming in.

Some of you on here have the decisiveness of a 14 year old girl trying to decide what shoes to wear to the freshman homecoming dance...
