Now, we have to continue to grow in our toughness, in our demeanor and our overall fundamentals as a football team. I’ve said it: Those are the things we can control, but everyone had better understand, there are going to be growing pains with this football team. It is what it is, but it’s going to be exciting to watch, because that’s an illustration of the type of people we have in our football program right now.”

Butch has instituted structure for Team 118, and with that will come responsibility and ultimately, ownership. Playing on a team is very different than having part ownership of the team you play for.

Good post. I think 7 wins would be a major feat for this team. That and a bowl win and we have a great season on our hands. I saw a "we could go 10-2" post earlier today. Possible I guess but I am starting to see expectations start to creep into the twilight zone. Patience needed indeed.
